Homopolymer (PVA) & Co-Polymer Emulsions (PVA, EVA, VAE)

Homo-polymers are the most commonly used technology on the market due to their excellent adhesion to a wide variety of "polar" substrates, particularly cellulosic-based substrates such as paper and wood. Dura Pro™ polymers are hard and brittle with high molecular weight, high tensile strength, rapid setting speed and are extremely cost effective.

Dura Pro™ vinyl acetate copolymer emulsions can bond more difficult substrates such as plastic films, coated papers, and metal surfaces. Vinyl acetate copolymer emulsions are internally flexibilized with ethylene (VAE) or acrylate (VAA). The increased polymer flexibility provides for greater polymer mobility and better adhesion.
